All bars measure 84 cm high and are spaced 20 cm apart. You simply choose how many you need.

1 bar
For one person or a shower room: approximately 26 cm wide, including controls.
2 bars
For a couple: approximately 46 cm wide.

The installation

The wiring disappears into the wall

Each STRÖM bar is held by a square bracket positioned behind it, near the top. The power supply is housed in the wall behind the brackets and the control: once the wall is finished, no wiring is visible.

To plan for during the work
The conduits are installed before the tiling or painting.
Left or right-hand drive
The touch button is separate: it can be placed 20 cm from the bars, on whichever side you prefer.
Connection by an electrician
On a protected circuit, in a location compliant with bathroom volume requirements.

The installation

Four strokes, during your work

STRÖM is designed as a concealed faucet system: it is integrated during construction, not after.

Trace the location
Locate the centerline of each bar (20 cm apart) and that of the control using the dimensioned drawing.
Thread the sleeves
Your electrician brings the power supply into the wall, behind the brackets and the control panel.
Finish the wall
Tiling, coating or painting: only the cable outlets remain outstanding.
Secure and connect
The bars and the control panel are mounted on the finished wall, then the electrician connects them.

On a daily basis

A warm towel after getting out of the shower

The towel slides behind the bar and hangs along its entire length, in contact with the hot metal. Turn on the heat before showering; the timer switches it off automatically.

STRÖM heats and dries your towels. To heat the entire room, use a suitable heater.

Everything is settled with the touch of a finger

The control unit is a small round button attached next to the bars. Its screen displays the temperature; two buttons control the rest.

Good to know

From 40 to 60 °C, the bars warm the towels without damaging them. At the maximum temperature, the metal is hot to the touch: lower the setting if young children use the bathroom.

For maintenance, a soft cloth and soapy water are sufficient.

Everything you need to know before ordering

My wall is already finished: can I install STRÖM?

STRÖM requires concealed wiring: the power supply must come out of the wall, behind the mounting hardware and control. It is therefore designed for a renovation or new construction. If your wall is already finished, our GLÖD and FEMÖ models attach to a finished wall and plug into an outlet. If in doubt, send us a photo of your wall before ordering.

Who should install it?

The connection must be carried out by an electrician, on a protected circuit and in a location compliant with the bathroom safety zones. The conduits are installed before the wall finishes.

How many bars to choose?

Allow one bar per bath towel: 1 for one person, 2 for a couple, 3 for a family. All bars are 84 cm high and spaced 20 cm apart; only the overall width changes.

Does the command go on the left or the right?

On the side of your choice. It is a round button separate from the bars, which is fixed 20 cm from the nearest bar.

What is the Wi-Fi option used for?

It allows you to control STRÖM from your phone, using the Smart Life or Tuya app, in addition to the touch controls. A home Wi-Fi network is required. Without Wi-Fi, everything is set on the control panel: temperature and timer.

Where can it be placed in the bathroom?

STRÖM is protected against water splashes (IPX4). Its installation must comply with the safety zones defined around the shower and bathtub. Have your electrician approve it.

Can it heat the bathroom?

No, that is not its purpose. STRÖM heats and dries your towels. To heat the volume of the room, maintain a suitable heating system.

How to maintain the finishes?

A soft cloth and soapy water are all you need. Avoid abrasive or corrosive products, which are not covered by the warranty.

What is the warranty?

STRÖM is guaranteed for 2 years against manufacturing and conformity defects. Improper installation or use is not covered.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes, you have 30 days after receipt. The product must be returned uninstalled, complete, and in its original packaging. View the returns policy.

When will my order be delivered?

The estimated delivery date is displayed above the purchase button. Allow approximately 1 to 2 weeks: order it as soon as your project is scheduled. Your tracking number will be sent to you by email as soon as it ships.
