You choose the tiles, the faucets, the mirror. And you often end up with a towel warmer that looks like a radiator. RIÖ does the opposite: it is designed as an architectural element, and it heats too.

All the technical components are installed in the partition wall before tiling. Once the wall is finished, all that remains is to assemble the bars.

The plumber's advice

Decide on the location before tiling: the rail housing must be reserved and the power supply brought into the partition wall.

The permitted location depends on the safety volumes of your bathroom. Have it approved by your electrician, who will carry out the connection to a protected circuit.

Installation

A four-step installation, during your work

RIÖ is designed as a concealed faucet system: it is integrated during construction, not after. Detailed instructions are provided for your installer.

Trace the location
Locate the height and centerline of the bars on the bare partition using the dimensioned drawing.
Book and feed
Prepare the housing for the technical rail and have your electrician install the 230 V power supply.
Fix then tile
Fix the rail, close it up, and tile around the bar starters.
Mount the bars
Screw in the bases, bars, and touch control, then turn on the power.

Is your wall already tiled? RIÖ requires the wall to be opened up: write to us before ordering, and we’ll tell you if this is feasible in your case.

On a daily basis

One bar per napkin

Every towel has its own bar: it dries flat, without being covered by the one next to it, and you find it warm when you get out of the shower.

RIÖ heats and dries your towels. To heat the entire room, keep a suitable heater on.

The bases and bars warm up without burning: the surface temperature can be set from 30 to 60°C. For cleaning, a soft cloth and soapy water are all you need.

Everything you need to know before ordering

My wall is already tiled: can I install RIÖ?

RIÖ is built into the wall: you must be able to open the wall in the designated area, then close it back up and tile it. It is therefore designed for renovation or new construction. If in doubt, send us a photo of your wall before ordering.

Who should install it?

The electrical connection must be carried out by an electrician, on a protected circuit and in a location compliant with the safety zones of the bathroom. The preparation of the partition is done before tiling, with your drywaller or your tiler.

How many bars to choose?

Allow one bar per bath towel: 3 bars for one person, 4 for a couple, 5 for a family or if you want to hang a bathrobe there. The width is the same on all three models (510 mm), only the height changes.

Can it heat the bathroom?

No, that is not its purpose. RIÖ heats and dries your towels (80 to 130 W depending on the model). To heat the room, continue to use a suitable heater.

What is the Wi-Fi option used for?

It allows you to control RIÖ from your phone, in addition to the touch controls. It is available on the 4 and 5-bar models, excluding the chrome finish. Without Wi-Fi, everything is set on the control panel: temperature and timer.

How do I maintain the finishes?

A soft cloth and soapy water are all you need. Avoid abrasive or corrosive products, which are not covered by the warranty.

What's the warranty?

RIÖ comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and conformity defects. Improper installation or use is not covered.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes, you have 30 days after receipt. The product must be returned uninstalled, complete, and in its original packaging. View the returns policy.

When will I be delivered?

The estimated delivery date is displayed above the purchase button. Allow approximately 1 to 2 weeks: order it as soon as your project is scheduled, so you have it before the tiles are laid. Your tracking number is sent to you by email as soon as it ships.
