I didn't know Olverton before ordering. After several weeks of use, nothing to report: practical, sturdy and very pretty.
1. Feature & detail
Brass bathroom tap
The straight spout, 18 cm long, extends 10 cm above the basin surface, with a 5 cm wide base and a single handle positioned on the upper part. This brass bathroom tap features a shiny polished finish on all visible surfaces, with no sharp edges or visible joint between the body and the spout.
The body is entirely cast in brass, a material naturally resistant to corrosion in permanently damp environments. The integrated ceramic cartridge regulates the flow without a wear joint — it does not drip and does not require replacement under normal conditions of use. The polished surface wipes clean with a soft cloth without leaving marks.
The single handle simultaneously controls the flow rate and temperature by rotation and tilting. The flow switches from cold to hot water in a quarter turn. Deck-mounted on a single-hole configuration, with mounting hardware included.
The 18 cm spout delivers water to the center of a standard-sized wall-hung or recessed basin, without splashing on the rim. The polished brass finish matches white ceramic, stoneware, or frosted glass basins.
Complete your installation with our brass taps, shower columns, and our Brushed Grey collection. This model is also available in Matte Black and Chrome.

What is the difference between a brass tap and a zinc tap?
Brass is a high-density alloy of copper and zinc: it resists corrosion, pressure fluctuations, and hot water over the long term without deforming or cracking. Pure zinc or high-zinc alloys (zamak) are lighter and less expensive to produce, but they corrode more quickly when in prolonged contact with hot water and cleaning products. A brass bathroom tap has a significantly longer lifespan, with superior mechanical strength at the threads and mounting points — it is the benchmark material for sanitary fittings in Europe.
